Let's Bridge the Distance

This is a wooden monument symbolising the bridging of distance through the interlocking of two different sets of fingers. The pair of four bent wood pieces indicate the happiness that comes with the initial touch of mine and my partner's fingers.

Having just gotten into a long distance relationship, the physicality of this sculpture implies hope that the overcoming of this distance is real and permanent.
