Mapping Memories

The cover of this book is designed as a map of Mumbai, forming a globular structure that encloses the pages inside—representing how the city once encompassed my entire world. Each page corresponds to a numbered location on the map, recounting the experiences I had there—exciting, joyful, sad, and even scary. Like a message in a bottle, the book captures my memories, with Mumbai as the bottle and its roads and places holding the messages of my life. It reflects the significance of places and how they preserve the stories we leave behind.
